Enrichment and socialization

All our pups receive Bio Sensor Stimulation exercises, daily play/handling, introduction to multiple surfaces/tactile stimulation, desensitization to loud noises, introduction to baths and grooming (including blow drying) & lots of love.

To help the new family bond with their new pup, we do recommend hand feeding all food to the pup for the first few weeks (have the pup sit for this) - this helps the pup to recognize humans as their alpha & to associate them with good things.

Puppy health practices

All pups are kept on a regular deworming program starting at 2 weeks of age, receive 1st puppy shot, and go to vet for a checkup between 7-8 weeks of age.  Health record & health warranty are sent home with pup.

Extras

We send our puppies home with sample of their food, treats, sample of vitamins, rag with mom & littermates’ scent, toy, leash, AKC puppy registration paper, & 30 day free Trupanion insurance offer.

Photos

Pictures are taken of pups every 2 weeks, starting at 1 week of age, and shared with new owners at that time.

Prices

Pups' price depends on the pup's bloodlines, conformation, type registration, coat color & markings.   Pups are priced after birth.

AKC pups will be available with either limited papers or full registration.  Full registration price is more than limited.  Inquire on price with full registration before you place a holding fee.

A $500 nonrefundable holding fee will reserve a specific pup from a born litter or will reserve place of pick in a specific upcoming litter.  This does go towards the purchase price.  Holding fees are nonrefundable.  Before a specific pup is reserved, holding fees are transferrable from specified litter for up to 1 year from date placed.  Once a specific pup is chosen, holding fees can not be transferred – not to a different pup from the same litter & not to a different or later litter.

This hold fee is good for 1 year from date of placement, or until a specific pup is chosen, whichever comes first.  If a pup is not chosen by the end of 1 year’s timeframe, it expires & is no longer valid to be used towards a pup & is nonrefundable.

We, as breeders, reserve the right to first pick of any litter we produce.  This doesn’t mean we will keep a pup from each litter – it just gives us that option.

Transport Options

Shipping is available via ground transport - buyer is responsible for making the transport arrangements/payments.  Transport fee Is not included in pup’s purchase price.  The health certificate required for transport is an extra fee that the buyer is responsible for.  Buyer must let us know the name/contact info for their chosen transport company.  Transport company representative must contact us to coordinate pickup schedule. If a flight nanny picks up from our city, that could be an option also. The closest airports to us are Atlanta, GA (2 hours south) & Asheville, NC (1 ¾  hours north). If you choose to have someone else bring your puppy to you, we cannot be responsible for the condition of the puppy after we turn it over to them.  You accept all responsibility of/for the pup at the time it is picked up, whether picked up by you the buyer or your shipper.  No exchanges made.

After Going Home

The purchaser must have a veterinarian examine the puppy within 24 hours of purchaser’s receipt of puppy.  In the event of a weekend sale, a veterinarian must see the puppy the next business day.  Plans should be made for this & an appointment made before pup is picked up.  You must send vet notes from this exam to us, within 2 days of exam.

Puppies are like children.  They are susceptible to infections, parasites, and common illnesses.  Problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, worms, giardia, etc. are common and must be treated.   ALL vet bills are the responsibility of the buyer from the date of sale.  Buyer agrees to maintain their pup in good health, & to provide routine care, adequate food/water/housing, have an annual vet exam, & provide internal and external parasites control/prevention – includes, but is not limited to:   ticks, fleas and all types of worms.  Limit climbing/jumping & do not take pup on long/strenuous walks/hikes for the first year.

Problems caused by owner negligence or abuse, such as, but not limited to, improper nutrition, excessive exercise, long &/or strenuous walks/hikes, pup jumping while growing, climbing/going down stairs while growing, lack of care, unclean/unsafe environment, or arising from accidents, are not covered under our warranty.

We do recommend to wait til pup is at least 12 months old to spay/neuter your pup.

No guarantee is made as to size at maturity, coat color/length, eye color, or breeding or showing capability.  No refunds are given.
