Hello Chastains.

I would like to thank you both for allowing me to adopt Maxxi. She is a terrific girl and an absolute blessing. I appreciate the time and energy it took in making this adoption happen. She is everything you described.

She was the perfect rider on the way home. We did stop at work to give her an initial introduction to that environment. Aside from some reluctance to walk through the doorway, she did beautifully. By the time we got to the house it was dark. We took our evening walk. It was funny to watch her react to the shadow of a fire hydrant; she was not quite sure what to make of it. Letting her go at her own pace, she approached it cautiously and we continued our walk.

We took a nice long walk this morning, she met some new people and a new dog, Martin, a terrier mix. Went very well. We just came back from a midday walk. Have been no accidents inside. All in all, she seems to be adjusting nicely.
